Fantastic and tasty Kanazawa oden (Japanese stewed food) and great variety of small dishes. This place will show you that food is not just about strong flavour and saltiness... Gotta try all time favorite of radish, juicy puff, boiled egg in flavourful broth. Finish off the dinner with seaweed ochazke - Japanese porridge. Very healthy and fulfilling dinner.

Inside Kawazana station, good selections of oden and lunch specials. Ordered various oden pieces, they were okay, but not outstanding and the prices were on the high end. For example, shiraco was fresh, but the beef tendon was too beefy. The rest oden was just okay. Also got a fish lunch special which was a bit above average, reasonable price.

Kanazawa Oden. Carma fu, bai shellfish and egg roast are recommended. Kuruma fu is a delicious soup made from light soup stock.

I ordered lunch special, "Kaisen-don", a Japanese style Poke Bowl. Everything was so fresh and I enjoyed every bit of it. Best of all, it was only about $17!!
